Plastic coated gabion mesh is a hexagonal mesh (hexagonal mesh) woven by twisting metal wire in one direction for two weeks using a machine, also known as gabion and pad. The tensile strength of the steel wire is not less than 38 kg/m2, and the diameter can reach 2.0mm-4.0mm. The surface is usually protected by galvanizing and PVC/PE coating. There are two main raw materials for plastic coated gabion mesh:

2. PVC zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire: A PVC protective layer is applied to the surface of the zinc-5% aluminum-mixed rare earth alloy steel wire, and then woven into a hexagonal wire mesh. This PVC protective layer will greatly increase the protection in a highly polluted environment, and through the selection of different colors, it can be integrated with the surrounding environment.

Plastic coated gabion mesh can be used for slope protection, slope support, highway, railway protection, river, dam and seawall scour protection, and is also mainly used as a slope protection structure for river channels, bank slopes, and roadbed slopes. It can not only prevent the river bank from being damaged by water flow, wind and waves, but also realize the natural convection exchange function between the water body and the soil under the slope, ecological balance, and increase the landscape and greening effect.
